Amazon Web Services has completed the sale of two plots of land in Prince William County, Virginia, to Stack Infrastructures. Interestingly, it also bought two parcels of land in Loudoun County, Virginia, from Stack Infrastructure’s owner, IPI Partners. According to BizJournal, AWS sold two plots of land at 9650 Innovation drive and 10675 University Blvd. to Stack Innovation Holdings for $87.4 million.

The Loudoun County records further showed that the company later paid $146 million for two shell data centers and land located at 24214 and 24244 Quail Ridge Lane in Aldie, Loudoun County. Amazon Web Services’ acquisition includes two 204,014 square foot (19,000 square meters) data centers on nine acres and 11 acres of undeveloped land in the county. IPI Partners launched stack Infrastructure in 2019. This was after it merged T5 assets and Infomart into a new wholesale colocation provider.
