CyrusOne: CyrusOne launches fifth data center in Frankfurt

CyrusOne has just launched its fifth data center in Frankfurt, FRA5  located in Hanau, 25km east of Frankfurt's city center. This new campus, spanning 18,000 square meters across two buildings will offer 54MW of IT capacity.

The launch ceremony hosted by Carsten Schneider was attended by Lord Mayor Claus Kaminsky, City of Hanau; Erika Schulte, economic development officer, City of Hanau; state secretary Dr. Walter Fischedick representing Prof. Dr. Kristina Sinemus, Hessian minister for digital strategy and development; and Peter Pohlschröder, vice-chairman for the German Data Center Association (GDA).
