Equinix: Equinix files application for data centers in Clondalkin, Ireland

Equinix filed for permission to build a data center in Profile Park, Clondalkin, Ireland. The Company filed for permission to build a three-story data center in July. It is going to call the facility DB8. The facility will be built within a 2.65 hectare of land. The facility will also have a gross floor area of 9,600 square meters (103,000 square feet). The commission is set to make its decision by the 29th of August.

Equinix currently has four available locations in Dublin, namely, DB1, DB2, DB3, and DB4. The DB2 facility is near the DB8 site.
