Global Technical Realty (GTR) has announced that it is launching a 10.5MW data center in Petah Tikva, Israel. The facility will be an underground site that will be built for hyperscale purposes. It will also have 4,800 sqm (51,666 square feet) of space spread across two floors. Each of the floors will also offer 2.5MW and 8MW of IT capacity, respectively.

GTR says it will be designing the facility while Mercury, its existing construction partner, will manage and direct the build process. The Company also revealed that the facility would be built to an N+1 Tier III standard, and it will also offer a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) below 1.17 at full load. Construction of the facility will be in two phases; it is also scheduled to be in full operation by Q2 2023.

Franek Sodzawiczny, Founder and CEO at GTR, said he is excited to announce the launch of GTR’s second data center in one of the fastest-growing tech hubs in the world. GTR recently launched its first project in July 2021.
