Sydney: Macquarie Data Centres and Console Connect partner for new Point of Presence in Sydney

Macquarie Data Centers has announced that it has partnered with Console Connect to add a new Point of Presence in Sydney. Through the partnership, Console Connect’s Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform will be available at the Macquarie Data Centres campus in Macquarie Park, Sydney. 

The two have shared that the new data center location, Console Connect’s fourth Point of Presence (PoP) in Sydney, will provide customers with the ability to privately connect to the “world’s largest” clouds, SaaS platforms and a network of over 900+ data centers globally. This includes connections to hyperscalers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Cloudflare, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, and IBM Cloud .

Further, businesses will be able to access premium business internet access, the CloudRouter multicloud connectivity solution and a remote peering service providing access to a number of internet exchanges.
