According to Bloomberg, many companies including BDx, DigitalBridge, STT GDC, Digital Edge, and STT GDC are exploring options of acquiring Time Dotcom’s data center assets. The long line of suitors are currently performing due diligence on the data center assets. Offer for the assets could be between $500 million to $600 million. Time Dotcom is a Malaysian telecommunication company backed by Khazanah Nasional Bhd., a Malaysian sovereign wealth fund.

Some of the suitors are also looking into expanding into Malaysia. For example, BDx announced that it would be expanding across Asia with Malaysia being a potential destination. Time Dotcom had been looking to dispose the assets since March 2022. It seems the plan is finally coming to fruition.
