Microsoft Azure: Microsoft reportedly in talks with Telangana government over $2 billion data center

Microsoft is reportedly in talks with the Telangana government to construct one of its largest data centers with an investment of around USD$2- 2.25 billion (Rs 15,000 crore). If this goes ahead, it will make it one of the tech giant’s biggest investments outside of the US.

According to Business Standard, the company is in the final talks stage, and sources in the state government say that the company has “zeroed in on a land parcel” near Hyderabad for the facility.

Microsoft is yet to make a statement, and official details have not been confirmed.
