Pantheon Infrastructure has announced that it will be investing $34.7m in Vantage Data Centers. The investment will be geared towards the data center company’s North American business for continued growth. Vantage has data center campuses in Quebec, Montreal, Phoenix, Ashburn, Quincy, and Santa Clara. Richard Sem, a partner at Pantheon, said: “We are delighted to invest in this high-quality asset, which we believe will offer us access to a strong growth opportunity. The data center sector is benefitting from strong secular trends, which we believe will continue into the long-term. We are especially pleased to partner again with DigitalBridge, a manager with a strong track record in digital infrastructure.”

Pantheon Ventures was founded in 1982, managing over $70b worth of assets. It is also Vantage’s existing investor. Pantheon has made several investments recently. The company made a $58m investment in Calpine Corporation, an independent US power producer. It also invested $46.1m in Cartier Energy last month.
