Northern Virginia: PRP Buys Land in Manassas To Develop Three Data Centers

According to BizJournal, PRP has completed the acquisition of 22 acres of land in Prince William County, Virginia. The property is located at 7816 Bethlehem Road in Manassas. The Real estate firm paid $22 million to Allan Myers for the property. It is also negotiating for another 13 acres with the construction company. PRP says it will be developing a data center campus on the property. 

The President of PRP, Paul Dougherty, said the company would be developing one 120,400 square feet substation and three powered shell data center buildings, two of which is 364,080 square foot while the last one is 261,990 square feet on the property. PRP is also looking to secure the power needed to deliver 150MW of energy before 18 months lapses.
