Luxury watch company Compagnie Financière Richemont has revealed that it is migrating its closing its European data centers and moving its IT infrastructure to Amazon Web Services. The group owns some luxury brands, including Montblanc, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC, and Schaffhausen. Richemont says it will also migrate its data centers in the US and Hong Kong to AWS before the end of 2022.

The company has a cloud-first strategy that includes migrating its business-critical IT applications and enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, accounting, product lifecycle management, manufacturing, and eCommerce systems.
