Liquid cooling and data center firm Submer Technologies and the Government of Madhya Pradesh in India this week signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop up to 1GW of liquid-cooled AI data centers in Madhya Pradesh.
Sanjay Dubey, additional chief secretary of the Department of Science and Technology – Department of Urban Development and Housing, Government of Madhya Pradesh, said: “Such collaboration proves to be a significant step towards strengthening the state's digital infrastructure to global standards. By integrating cutting-edge technologies such as liquid cooling and AI-ready data centers, we are building a strong foundation for sustainable growth and positioning Madhya Pradesh as a hub for next-generation digital infrastructure and innovation.”
Submer co-founder Daniel Pope added: “This agreement with the Government of Madhya Pradesh is a pivotal moment. By embedding sustainable, AI-optimized datacenter design into the state’s growth strategy, we have an opportunity to establish world-class infrastructure that combines performance with environmental responsibility.”
