Central America : Ufinet launches new data center in Panama City, Panama

Ufinet has announced that it has launched its new data center in Panama City, Panama. Certified by Uptime and Rated 3 ANSI/TIA-942-B, the facility is Tier III, although further details have not yet been released.

“Ufinet in its 25 years celebrates a new achievement in the Panama branch, the inauguration of the new Ufinet Transistmica Data Center, which has Design Tier III certification,” the company said on LinkedIn. 

“With this new location and infrastructure, the telecommunications sector in Panama is once again promoted, providing new interconnection and availability options.”

The facility was opened by country manager José Quintas Garcí­a, commercial manager Lisbeth Valenzuela, and CTO Robinson Gutiérrez Gallego, with government officials and Ufinet customers also in attendance.
