Vantage Data Centers has announced that it is expanding its operations in Canada with significant developments. The company is looking to expand its existing facilities in Quebec and Montreal while developing a new campus in Montreal. It will be investing CAD$900 million (US$713m) in the expansion spree. The general manager and vice president of Vantage Canada, Maxime Guévin, said its continued expansion and investment in Quebec cements its position as the largest hyperscale digital infrastructure provider in the country.

Maxime Guévin noted that Quebec is a fantastic location for data centers because of its renewable and affordable power options, business-friendly culture, cool climate, and rich connectivity. The multi-million dollar investment will see Vantage develop a third campus in Montreal while also expanding its two existing campuses in Quebec and Montreal. The development sees Vantage’s total data center campuses in Quebec rise to four, with a total capacity of 143MW upon full build-out.
