Vantage Data Centers: Vantage Secures $350m Loan From French Bank For Data Center in Santa Clara, California

According to Real Deal and Globe Street, Vantage Data Centers has received $350m in funding to develop a data center in Santa Clara, California. Vantage DC acquired a building in the city, and the fund will be used to convert it into a data center campus. The planned facility will span 44,500 square meters (479,000 square feet). Vantage data center secured the loan from the French bank Societe Generale. 

Vantage Data Centers acquired the property on Wah Avenue, Santa Clara, in February 2021 for $40m. The property is a one-story building spanning 10,500 square meters (113,600 square feet) and sits on a 6.7-acre land. Vantage currently has two data centers called CA12 and CA14 on Walsh Avenue, which is a part of the company’s plan for six data centers on its Santa Clara campus.
