Vision Net has announced the acquisition of iConnect Montana. The telecommunications solution provider revealed earlier in the week that it closed the transaction for an undisclosed fee. Both companies will now operate under the Vision Net brand and name. iConnect was founded in 1999 by Northern Communications, Nemont Communications, and Triangle Communications. It offers colocation services from a 4,360 square meter (47,000 square feet) data center in Billings. iConnect also said it has facilities in Missoula and Helena.

Corey Jensen, Vision Net’s CEO, said the acquisition of iConnect will help improve the company’s suite of services, thereby allowing the company to deliver a wide-ranging customer experience. He added that more firms want data center solutions to improve security and reduce latency and cost. The addition of iConnect’s data center services will help address this vital need.
