São Paulo: Zeittec announces data center for Santos Port Authority

Zeittec is building a new facility for the Santos Port Authority (SPA), in São Paulo, following the signing of a construction contract. Work is due to commence in January, with projections that works will be completed in mid-2023.
The facility is part of a wider digitalization project of Porto de Santos, and will also be protected environment against fires, featuring walls certified by NBR 10.636, as well as CAT 6A, structured cabling and OM4 laser multimode optical fibers.
Speaking about this development, Zeittec's commercial director, Claudenir de Oliveira, said: "We are going to build a robust and resilient site, with redundant UPSs and generators to provide high availability and security in data processing."
