In May 2020, Facebook acquired $15 Million USD parcel of land for a 970,000 square foot data center campus in Gallatin, TN.

The Gallatin Data Center is Facebook's 17th data center development globally and 13th in the United States.
Kicking off in August 2020, Facebook's Gallatin Data Center is a greenfield development of a multi-building data center campus. Meta's first set of Gallatin data centers are the legs of a building shaped like a capital H. Another second set of connected data centers, arranged like a backward four, are under construction on a road named Meta Loop.
Meta is seeking approval from the city of Gallatin to build another data center on its 800-acre site.
